The UEVB runs a nursery to answer the needs of its partners that require a lot of small batches of specific combinations of rootstocks and grafts for research purposes. After being grafted by UMR EGFV, the plants are grown in the nursery, on fertigated rows with plastic mulch (avoids the use of herbicides), to be uprooted by the end of autumn. 

The UEVB nursery also contributed to various programs, such as ones on the success of grafting and after being taken out of the nursery:

• ORIGINE program (understanding the determining factors and improving the mastery of high-quality vine stock production, to ensure the vineyard’s longevity)
• DURAGREFFE program (Oxidative stress and antioxidant compounds' role in the success of grapevine grafting)
